Hello,
I am looking to corroborate that my ancestors spent time in Aroostook County, Maine. I have the following information:

Background: Members of the Felix Mackey (alternate spelling=Mackie) family came from then County Queens, Ireland, and settled in Northesk/Nelson, Northumberland, New Brunswick area during the years 1826-1851.

Patrick Mackey, born in Maine to Edward and Mary Malloy Mackey, c1854. (Source: 1875 Minnesota State Census)

James Mackey (Mackie) left New Brunswick and resided in Aroostook County, Maine, from 1851-1852. He would have been about 18 years old at this time.

I also believe that John Hynes (alternate spelling=Hines) and his wife Mary (Mackey/ie) Hynes were in Maine at some point between 1842 and 1860.

I have searched the Maine birth records. 1715-1922 database, on Ancestry and Family Search for Patrick’s birth, as well as the 1850 and 60 US Census records for John and Mary.

If anyone has ideas on additional resources where I might search for records, I would be most grateful.
